Kanji Ronin has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. The app functions entirely offline.
The app saves your study progress locally using AsyncStorage, which is device-local storage provided by the React Native framework. This includes:
This data is stored only on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app.
Kanji Ronin offers optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and one-time purchases) processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple.
Kanji Ronin uses no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking services.
The app does not make any network requests during normal use. An internet connection is only required for in-app purchases.
Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it is suitable for users of all ages, including children under 13. It complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and equivalent regulations.
Your progress data persists on your device until you delete the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently.
You can also reset your progress for individual levels from within the app settings.
If we ever change this privacy policy in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and release a new version of the app through the App Store.
